Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V

Editorial

One century has passed and the renaissance promised 1400 years ago is in full flow.

The Ahmadiyya Khilafat now enters a historic phase, a critical juncture, and with it comes the greatest test for both those who have pledged their allegiance and those who have not. For Ahmadi Muslims, it is a test of faith to see whether they continue to be true believers as set out in the Holy Qur’an and to whom an everlasting and enduring Khilafat has been promised. For others, it is a test to overcome their egos and ambitions and recognise the truth.

Today the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community stands at one with its Khalifa, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, whose life has been a reflection of humility, dedication, steadfastness, prayer and success. His unwavering and absolute faith in the powers of the Almighty God lead him to urge his community never to forget the Almighty and never to despair. He wants his community focused on prayer and he keeps reminding everyone to discharge the rights owed to the Creator and His creation. His sympathy for mankind drives him and his community to serve humanity in the same spirit that the early Muslims served the poor and the needy. Indeed his very life and mission reflect a pure spirit that is ever wary of its responsibilities and ever vigilant for the honour of Islam its Holy Prophet(saw) and the one who loved him most, the Prophet of the latter days.

As the second century of Khilafat emerges Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul-Masih V continues to spearhead this revolution that is destined for victory. We must ensure that our duty of obedience is immovable and true to the letter and spirit of our Bai’at so that we remain true believers.
