The Khalifa — My Lifeline

My love for the Khalifa, oh, it runs deep and true
A bond growing stronger with each passing day, it’s true
I strive to meet his noble expectations
And tread the path that he has so graciously laid

Yet, my heart can’t help but feel the deepest admiration
As I watch him strive to spread God’s illumination
Bearing the weight of his followers’ persecution
Yet he carries it with grace, a noble resolution

The world’s burdens weigh heavily on his weary soul
As he endeavours to instil God’s love as his goal
In the hearts of those who face oppression and strife
He carries their burdens, bringing hope and life

The world teeters on the brink of chaos and war
Yet this humble man, with love as his core
Implores us to seek peace through fairness and care
To heal the wounds and restore the world, oh so fair

His love knows no bounds, his wisdom unwavering
I am moved by his tireless dedication, so empowering
I pray that I may support his noble mission
And follow his example, his unwavering compassion

My heart longs for the day we meet, oh so soon
But I pray it be in Ghana, under the golden moon
So my countrymen may feel a glimpse of this love so true
And our land be blessed by this anointed one, too

For my love for the Khalifa is not mere admiration
But a deep respect for his tireless quest for peace
I will stand by his side, and do all I can to assist
For he’s touched my soul, bringing hope and release
