Dealing with the ‘Winter Blues’

Winter is here, which means that holiday season is fast approaching. It’s a time of joy and celebration, while being around family and friends.

But with the arrival of winter days become shorter resulting in longer nights. That means our skin gets less sunlight and Vitamin D, and being cooped up in our houses may result in feeling more fatigue and less motivated. All of these things may be a sign of the ‘winter blues’.

There are different ways to combat the ‘winter blues’, such as bundling up and getting out of the house to enjoy nature, and even having some fun in the snow. Most of all, it’s important to always pray and remember God, the best way to avoid any sort of ‘blues’.
