The Review of Religions is honoured to present some of these ‘Rays of Wisdom’ from His Holiness (aba) taken from various sources, for the benefit of its readers.
The Promised Messiah’s (as) Unmatched Devotion to the Holy Prophet (sa)

One of the greatest testimonies of a person is when even those who may not align with them in their views have no choice but to accept their accomplishments and achievements. In the realm of faith, we see in history that the idolaters of Makkah, although completely averse to the message of the unity of God brought by the Holy Prophet (sa), had no choice but to at least accept the great qualities of the Holy Prophet (sa) and his devotion to his Lord. In more recent times, the Promised Messiah (as) was commissioned to remind the world of the teachings brought by the Holy Prophet (sa). Although much of the Muslim world opposed him, in fairness, they had to accept his unmatched services rendered for the sake of Islam, all under the shadow of the Holy Prophet (sa).
Whilst citing one such example, His Holiness (aba) once said:
‘Upon the demise of the Promised Messiah (as), a non-Ahmadi newspaper from Amritsar, Vakeel, wrote:
“Despite having extreme doctrinal differences, the demise of Mirza Sahib has made the Muslims – rather the enlightened Muslims – realise that a prominent personality has departed from them. Also, the superb defence of Islam that was bonded with his personage has also come to an end after his demise.”
It further stated:
“Now, after completing his work, one has to acknowledge the eminence and greatness of Mirza Sahib’s literary works. In future, no matter how extensive our efforts are for the defence of Islam, it is impossible to disregard the writings of Mirza Sahib. The defence of Islam is not possible without the writings of Mirza Sahib.”[1]
This was all done by the Promised Messiah (as) and was done in order to establish that Islam is the everlasting and perfect religion of Allah the Almighty. It was done owing to his deep love for the Holy Prophetsa and to establish the great and true status of the Holy Prophet (sa). He proved to the world and all the religions of the world that there is no religion like the religion of Muhammad (sa).’[2]
