Anti-Christ Wars and Battles

Portents of War

As a revealed scripture, the Holy Qur’an is a Divine message to mankind, calling all men to pay heed to the will of their Creator. The gist of this message is that by cultivating their spiritual faculties through prayer and communion with God and by eschewing evil, such as falsehood, greed, injustice and covetousness, human beings can live a life of true happiness, fulfilment and peace on earth; and that this, in turn, will be of benefit to the entire creation. A comprehensive set of teachings is provided for the attainment of these goals.

What is immediately apparent to its readers is that, from the very start, the Holy Qur’an contains warnings regarding the results of any failure, by individuals or peoples, to pay heed to this message from God. It is clearly stated that actions by individuals threatening the well-being of their souls will invariably exert a negative effect on their lives and immediate physical surroundings; the examples of the peoples of Noah, Lot, and many other Prophets (may peace be upon them all) are cited, and mankind is invited to investigate the reasons underlying their utter destruction and also why, in stark contrast, the believers among those peoples survived. Furthermore, to understand the phenomenon of why some survive and others are doomed, a study of nature is greatly encouraged by God in the Qur’an. Indeed, even a cursory behavioural study of the living organisms of our wondrous biosphere will reveal that creatures that stick to the rules tend to be rewarded with survival – and that those that choose to do otherwise are punished by the laws of nature. Thus, the ruminant that leaves the security of the herd is apt to be picked off by the predator; the summer-flowering plant that opens its buds before the last spring frosts have quite passed is likely to lose all its blooms; the bird that hatches its chicks before food becomes abundant is prone to lose its entire brood to starvation; and the dallying butterfly that allows favourable winds to pass before commencing its migration almost certainly dies of exhaustion en route.

Allah further warns us that when laws of survival are collectively flouted by entire nations, such actions will wreak havoc on the world. Evil is added to evil, their effects are compounded, and as a result large sections of humanity are engulfed in destruction wrought by their own hands.

As the last in the line of Divine Scriptures, the Holy Qur’an forewarns mankind of events that will occur in a future extending to the end of humankind as a species. Of these, there is a set of events that stands out for its peculiarity, the consequences of which are stated to be most frightening. Our interest at this point in time in the aforementioned suite of events is not the least urgent for the reason that its culmination seems highly likely to be reached in our time.

As the first decade of the twenty-first century draws to a close, and having the benefit of hindsight, humankind hardly needs to be enlightened as to the advantages of living in peace and respect with each other, of leading simple, eco-friendly lives, and of favouring and acting upon policies of generous sharing of resources amongst nations; for, alas, the consequences of not doing so lie before our eyes in the form of the stark poverty and starvation of many due to the greed and overindulgence of a few, in the depletion of the ozone layer, in ecological disasters and global warming triggered or exacerbated by a lifestyle of senseless consumerism, and in the wars and turmoil born of hatred and covetousness plaguing many parts of the world and ultimately affecting all. Never before have the consequences of Man’s rejection of God’s message been witnessed on such a global scale.

Although unanimity on the causes for climate change has yet to be reached in the scientific community, there is growing consensus that the damage inflicted by Man on the environment – irrespective of whether climate change is being caused by Man or not – is in itself sufficient to seriously threaten the very existence of humankind relatively soon. The heart-rending pleas made by the twelve-year-old Severn Cullis-Suzuki at the 1992 United Nations Earth Summit1 to stop the devastation of the planet, though applauded, went unheeded. Although now realising their errors and bracing themselves for harder times ahead, the developed nations of the world are doing next to nothing to change their voracious lifestyles. The reason for this lethargy is perhaps that the dangers are perceived to be remote, in a future well beyond the lifespan of most policy-makers of today. As the saying goes, what the eye does not see, the heart does not grieve over.

However, the Holy Qur’an warns of a more imminent threat poised to wipe out large sections of humanity, bringing about the destruction of civilisation as we know it. 1400 years ago, the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet Muhammad(saw) revealed that this would be linked to the amazing rise of Christian nations and to what could be termed their curious marriage of convenience with the Jewish people – curious, in the context of the almost hereditary mutual hatred and mistrust that have existed between these two peoples down through the centuries.

The Holy Prophet of Islam(saw) foretold the coming of a Messiah who would restore faith to a faithless world. The time for his appearance was to be thirteen centuries after the birth of Islam. But how and why, one may ask, would faith in God have disappeared from the world? The answer lies in a phenomenon which, interestingly, has its roots in a prayer made by Jesus(as).

In verses 113 to 116 of Chapter 5, the Holy Qur’an records the desire expressed by Jesus’ disciples to receive a table spread with food from heaven, hearing which, Jesus(as) at first rebukes them, stating that asking for such a thing would be tantamount to disbelief, but then addresses the following prayer to God:

Send down to us a table from heaven spread with food that it may be to us a festival, to the first of us and to the last of us, and a Sign from Thee. And provide sustenance for us, for Thou art the Best of sustainers

To this, God replies:

Surely, I will send it down to you, but whosoever of you disbelieves afterwards, I will surely punish them with a punishment wherewith I will not punish any other of the peoples.

Thus, the Christians were promised the best of sustenance for having believed in the Messiah, Son of Mary. Indeed, when they began to build upon the advancements in the sciences made by the Islamic nations during the middle ages, the Christian nations of Europe were offered a unique opportunity to trade with – and thus derive sustenance from – all continents of the world. Had they held firm to their belief in Jesus’ teachings of love and compassion, their sortie into the world might have ushered in a golden era of cooperation and human advancement on an unimaginable scale. However, they chose to conquer and ravage the lands they visited and to enslave the inhabitants thereof. In effect, they had breached the contract they had made with God; but He would continue to fulfil His promise for a time.

This rise of the Christian peoples, who are divided into two blocks, called, due to their extensive use of fire (firearms, combustion driven transport, etc.), Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj by the Holy Qur’an, and Gog and Magog by the Holy Bible, is mentioned extensively by the Holy Prophet Muhammad(saw). Furthermore, the politico-religious system called the Dajjaal (the biblical Antichrist) by which they would enslave other nations on earth and exploit their resources has been described in great detail. Some of the most amazing of their feats would be that they would manage to enslave many nations; that they would be able to discover treasures hidden underground which others would not be able to see; that they would be able to cut a man in half and then make him whole again without killing him; and that they would travel over land and sea and even above the clouds with a fire-driven mode of transport that would be smooth and shine like the moon and that would carry passengers in its belly, being able to cover large distances in very short periods of time.2

These Latter-Day Christians would be blind in their right eye, meaning that they would be a spiritually blind people. They would be driven by the pursuit of the earth’s treasures, even pushing into deserts to find them. They would be the cause of drought, famine and the drying up of lakes. Gog and Magog would be so powerful that no one would be able to defeat them. There would be no city which the Antichrist would not trample under his feet.3

The fulfilment of all these amazing prophecies – made by the Holy Prophet(saw) fourteen centuries ago – has been witnessed by all today.

The Holy Prophet(saw) further stated that, despite being the politico-religious power of Christendom, the Dajjaal would be followed by seventy thousand (seventy thousand being an idiom meaning “a very large number” in the Arabic language) satin-clad Jews.

So what is the nature of the involvement of Jewish persons in the affairs of that world-dominating force, the Dajjaal? After suffering over a millennium of persecution on Christian soil, during the last two hundred years some Jewish people have infiltrated every chamber of the powerhouse of the traditionally Christian nations of both the Western block – America and her allies – and the Eastern Block – Russia and her satellite states. Whether it is in Government, the media, finance and the economy, or the sciences, Jewish persons are invariably in positions either of influence or of overwhelming control. This has led the Christian nations to be perhaps unduly sympathetic to the Zionist cause. And this sympathy is reciprocal.

Vladimir Jabotinsky, the leader of right-wing Zionism before World War II, was quite blunt about the alliance between Zionism and European imperialism:

“…Zionism has the unshakeable resolve to keep the whole Mediterranean in European hands… In every East-West conflict, we will always be on the side of the West, for the West has represented a more superior culture than the East over the last thousand years after the destruction of the Baghdad caliphate by the Mongols… and we today are the most prominent loyal bearers of the culture…

We can never support the Arab movement which is at present opposed to us, and we are heartily pleased at every mishap to this movement…”4

Thus, accepting to be helped by the Dajjaal, and ignoring the warnings of the Prophet Ezekiel(as)5, the Jews would once again be gathered out of various peoples on earth and would return to the Holy Land. This is clearly indicated in the Qur’anic verse:

…We said to the children of Israel, ‘Dwell ye in the land; and when the time of the promise of the Latter Days comes, We shall bring you together once again. (Ch.17:V.105)

However, just like the early Christians were warned that they would be severely punished if they disbelieved and were ungrateful for God’s favours, the Israelites of the Latter Days are warned against behaving cruelly; they are told that due to their excessive misbehaviour, twice before in their history they had been expelled from the Holy Land by mighty nations; but that now God would show mercy to them, allowing them to return. Nevertheless, if again they are guilty of the same cruel behaviour, God will expel them and inflict them with a hellish punishment.6

Elsewhere in the Holy Qur’an, the Zionist Jews of the Latter Days are called Abu Lahab (the Father of Flames), and the two political blocks that they use to further their cause are likened to their hands. The Qur’an warns that following a period where all their wealth and earnings will fail them, they would be made to burn in a fire of their own making. This is what it says:

Perished be the two hands of Abu Lahab, and so perish he. His wealth and what he has earned shall avail him not. Soon shall he enter into a blazing fire (of his own making – since Abu Lahab means the father or maker of flames)… (Ch.111:Vs.2-4)

The nature of this fire is mentioned in chapter 104, verses 2-10:

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer, Who amasses wealth and counts it over and over. He imagines that his wealth will make him immortal. Nay! He shall surely be cast into the ‘Hutamah’. And what should make thee know what the ‘Hutamah’ is? It is Allah’s fire as preserved fuel, which will suddenly leap to the hearts. It is locked up in outstretched pillars to be used against them.7

The word “Hutamah” means “what is derived from the smallest particles of a thing”, namely the atom. This is said to contain a blazing fire within it that can leap out and reach the heart of man, as if there were no chest protecting it.

The appearance of the blast of this fire is mentioned in Ch.77:Vs.30-34:

“Now move towards what you have been denying, move on towards a three-pronged shadow, neither affording shade, nor protecting from the blaze. It throws up flames like castles, as though the castles were dusky yellow camels.”8

This punishment is further declared to target the northern nations of Caucasian origin, for they will be guilty of the spread of iniquity during the Latter Days. It is stated that the sinful will be blue-eyed, and that God will ultimately crush their achievements and scatter them as dust. Then, those who remain will finally accept the truth of Islam.9 This does not signify, of course, that all blue-eyed people are doomed – some will undoubtedly survive the coming cataclysm; it only means that since the people behind the power of the Antichrist and who will be the most affected by the evil born of it will be predominantly blue-eyed, they will naturally be the ones who will have to bear the brunt of the consequences thereof. The fact that it is these nations that are responsible for the most exploitative, wasteful and destructive economic policies the world has ever witnessed is being acknowledged today. In Brazil, in the presence of the British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva said regarding the financial crisis that has engulfed the world:

“This is a crisis that was caused by people, white with blue eyes. And before the crisis they looked as if they knew every-thing about economics. Once again the great part of the poor in the world that were still not yet [getting] their share of development that was caused by globalisation, they were the first ones to suffer. Since I am not acquainted with any black bankers, I can only say that this part of humanity that is the major victim of the world crisis, these people should pay for the crisis [sic]? I cannot accept that. If the G20 becomes a meeting just to set another meeting, we’ll be discredited and the crisis can deepen.”10

The financial system favoured by the developed world led by the superpowers and profoundly influenced by powerful Zionist lobbies, is based on interest; and to keep such a system viable, it has been necessary to economically enslave and continuously despoil the weaker nations on earth of the lion’s share of their available resources. To continue pumping wealth into this utterly wasteful system, they have not hesitated to invade and occupy other countries. Whole nations, races and religions have been demonised when it has suited their purpose. New countries have been violently carved out of old ones. Wars have been artificially created both to create markets for their firearms and weapons and to increase their control on unruly areas of the world. Moreover, the goods created by Western-style economies need markets to sustain their production. So, artificial tastes and perverted desires were created through cunning marketing and advertising strategies not only in industrialised countries, but in all countries both rich and poor, in every corner of the world, and people were encouraged to borrow from their future in order to keep on buying goods that they most often did not really need.

This mass consumerism and the reckless and frenzied spending that has accompanied it could only have been made acceptable to people whose moral standards have fallen. Therefore, while religion was attacked on every front, lewd behaviour and sexual promiscuity were greatly glamorised – in a word, the new cult promoted by the world’s policy-makers was materialism. However, the baser human desires curbed and curtailed by religious teachings, once freed from their Pandora’s box, ran amok, and the urge to immediately satisfy every desire has led to ever-increasing crime and the development of the cruellest of mafias. This, therefore, is how faith disappeared from the world. Though professing faith in God, the crushing majority of people lead lives of selfish individualism, senseless consumerism and stark materialism which show, in effect, that they have turned their backs on God and on His commandments.

During a question and answer session in West Ferry, Australia, on 30th of September, 1983, the fourth Caliph, Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad(ru) was asked: “How do you see the future of Western society from your religion’s viewpoint?”

Among other things, he replied:

“This is a very interesting question in which all humanity should be interested, more seriously than it is. The fact is that the pursuit of pleasure and a sense of liberty coupled together have made Western society what it is today. Liberty from what? Liberty from all bondage that binds man to his Creator. This is what I see in the Western concept of liberty today. Liberty from all that is noble, that creates responsibility, which binds you and which limits your avenues of pleasure-seeking. That is the liberty which the West has got today and is still pursuing – a mad pursuit of pleasure wherever it is to be had, forgetting that it is not for man to get whatever he wants to whatever extent he wants to have it.

Man is born with limited capabilities and limited resources. He is born with limited imagination and limited reach. So, it is impossible for man to get unlimited pleasure as he desires it – with the result that, more often than not, some roads end up with nothing. There is left only the sense of a hangover after the mad pursuits of worldly desires. There are other harmful side effects and society is becoming increasingly restless.

I have studied the American society, for example. What happened there was, that after a while they started inventing new ways of pleasure. All the magazines were devoted to these things, all the psychological studies were concerned with these things… They told people to seek pleasure in different directions – to go into Sadism… to allow whatever sort of distortion man can think of and seek pleasure. They were told there is no harm, no taboo – that was the message of the modern society – and they did! But to what extent? They always found a dead-end to whichever road they pursued, with the result that a sort of madness started taking hold of the society – they followed Bohemianism, they experimented with hippyism and sometimes they became skinheads – just to get a kick out of life – and that kick began to kick back after a while. Some people started using drugs and sought them wherever they could lay their hands on them. Yet, it was not possible – the whole country could not be allowed to turn into drug addicts, so the Government put its foot down after a certain toleration and the war went on and ultimately these drug addicts won the game. Now the American society is completely helpless in the hands of the Mafia people. Crime became rampant to such an extent that people who wanted a kick would kill just for the sake of the thrill they got…”11

Thus, these policies have been the cause of immense suffering, turmoil and death around the globe, and all in the name of pleasure for the rich few. The result can only be a conflagration matching the suffering caused. This is indeed what God warns of in verses 279-280 of chapter 2 of the Qur’an:

… Fear Allah and relinquish what remains of interest… But if you do it not, then receive the warning, from Allah and His Messenger, of war…12

Indeed, the Messenger of Allah(saw) prophesied that Gog and Magog would fight each other, and that this would start in the Levant.13 Israel would be severely shaken, according to prophecies in the Bible, a portion of which reads as follows:

‘And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken. Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; so that the fishes of the seas, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the fields, and all the creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’14

Anyone familiar with the history of the first half of the twentieth century will know that it was economic depression due to a financial system based on interest that was the cause of, and responsible for prolonging, the first two world wars. The fact that the long depression of 1873-1879 had paved the way for war between the United States and Spain and the First World War which lasted till 1918, and that the terrible American depression starting in 1929 and continuing right through the late thirties had been followed by a world war of apocalyptic proportions, is a matter which should ring alarm bells for a world now gripped in a financial crisis starting, once again, in America.

Should we, then, be afraid? Are there any signs of a worldwide catastrophe following the present global financial depression?

Many seem not to think so. However, Man is a creature prone to repeating mistakes of the past. Listening to politicians and economists today, one would think that the world economy does, of course, require urgent action but that relatively soon all will be well once again.

Clearly, they are not focussing on the underlying cause of, and the painful history behind, the present crisis. They are seeking to treat the last symptoms of a fatal disease, leaving the pathological agents created by their own nations to pursue their relentless destruction of the fabric of humankind. They propose to let a situation continue, where faith and godliness have been allowed to die and where selfishness and greed have been promoted.

In our time, God sent a messenger – the Promised Messiah(as) – before the events leading to the first and second world wars had begun to unfold, with the good news that the evil consequences of the deeds of mankind could be averted if they returned to godliness, to the way of life taught by God – a way of life which safeguards both humankind and the natural world; but also with the warning that, should they persist in their defiance of the laws of survival designed by God, they would be severely punished, according to the warnings issued by the prophets of the past.

Despite the centuries of favours they have enjoyed, the Christian nations have shown extreme ingratitude towards God, forgetting the precepts of love, of compassion and of disregard for material things taught by Jesus(as).

The Jewish people have turned to Gog and Magog to violently establish the State of Israel in the Holy Land, treating unfairly the local populations ever since and playing havoc with world economics and politics. Muslims, either joining the pursuit of those very pleasures that are undermining the West while sucking out the lifeblood of developing nations, or blindly following bloodthirsty, power-hungry Imams and Mullahs, have sunk into the depths of immorality and turmoil. Mankind as a whole has abandoned faith in God’s commandments, and has surrendered to abject greed and desires. The world is now gripped in both regional conflicts and an overwhelming financial and economic crisis…

Thus, the stage is set for the fulfilment of the final part of the prophecies made centuries before.

This is what the Promised Messiah(as) had to say about it:

‘Bear in mind that God has informed me time and again about the coming of earth-quakes. So be sure that just as there have been earthquakes in America and in Europe, in keep with the prophecies, so will they occur in different parts of Asia, and some of them will be as terrifying as doomsday. There will be death on such a large scale that rivers will run with blood, and even birds and animals will not escape it. Such destruction will overtake the earth as has not happened since man was born. Most places will be turned upside down as if they had never been inhabited. There will also be other terrible afflictions, both in heaven and earth, and every sensible person will realise that they are no ordinary phenomena, and no trace of them will be found in books of astronomy or philosophy. Then people will be seized by anxiety and they will wonder what is going to happen. Many will be saved, and many will perish. Those days are near, indeed they are at the door, when the world shall witness a spectacle of doomsday. Not only will there be earthquakes, but other terrible calamities will also appear, some from heaven and some from the earth. This will happen because men haven given up the worship of their God, and all their thoughts and their designs and their resolves are diverted towards the world. Had I not come, these calamites might have been delayed for a while, but with my coming the secret designs of God’s wrath, that had long been hidden, have been manifested. As God said:

We never punish until We have sent a Messenger. (Ch.17:V.16)

Those who repent shall find security and those who fear before the calamity overtakes them will be shown mercy. Do you think you will be safe from these earthquakes, or that you can save yourselves by your own designs? No, you cannot. All human designs will come to naught that day. Do not imagine that only America has been shaken by the earthquake and that you are safe, for you may experience even greater calamities. O Europe! you are not secure, O Asia! you are not secure, O you who dwell in the Islands, no artificial god will come to your aid. I see the cities falling and I see the habitations in ruin. The One and the Unique has long remained silent. Abominations were committed before His eyes and yet He remained silent. But now He shall reveal His countenance in a dreadful manner. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! The hour is not far. I tried to bring everyone under the security of God, but the decrees of destiny had to be fulfilled. Assuredly, I say that this country’s turn is also drawing near. The days of Noah shall appear before your eyes, and you will see with your own eyes what happened to the land of Lot. But God is slow to wrath; repent so that you are shown mercy. He who abandons God is a worm, not a man, and he who does not fear Him is dead, not alive.’15

This warning was reiterated in July, 1967, in London, by the third Caliph of the Promised Messiah(as), Hadhrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad(ru):

“The Promised Messiah(as) prophesied that a third world war of even bigger dimensions would follow the second. The two opposing camps will clash with such suddenness that everyone will be caught unaware. Death and destruction will rain from the sky and fierce flames shall engulf the earth. The colossus of modern civilisation will tumble to the ground…their might broken and their systems shattered… A people who are seeking to wipe out the name of God from the earth and to drive Him out of the skies will realise the folly of their ways and at long last submit to Him as staunch believers in His Unity and Oneness… You may consider this a fantasy. But those who survive the third world war will witness and bear out the truth of what I have said. These are the words of God Almighty. They shall be fulfilled. No one can avert His decree.

The end of the Third World War will be the beginning of the triumph of Islam. People will accept its truth in large numbers and will realize that Islam alone is the true religion and that the emancipation of man is to be won through the message of Muhammad alone (on whom be peace)… But, gentlemen, let us not forget that this prophecy, like all prophecies, is a warning and its fulfilment can be delayed or even averted provided man turns to his Lord, repents and mends his ways. He can yet avert Divine wrath if he stops worshipping the false deities of wealth, power and prestige, establishes a genuine relationship with his Lord, refrains from all transgressions, does his duty to God and man, and learns to work for true human welfare.”16

Addressing members of parliament and of the administrative bodies of Canada in 1996, the fourth Caliph, Mirza Tahir Ahmad(ru), gave such a warning about, and a graphic description of, the present global financial crisis that one may be forgiven for thinking he was seeing it unfold before his very eyes:

“So a time comes when the whole system is saturated. There is nothing more for the banks to lend unless they receive money back. In addition, earning power is also adversely affected in such periods of inflation…

It is at such times that economies collapse – it is impossible to sustain them. Industries shut down, big shopping centres come to a close, and there is dullness everywhere. It can only be remedied by expanding your markets – in the rest of the world – because, through this system, it is impossible to maintain the growth rate in the internal market of the country …governments frantically make efforts to enlarge their foreign markets. And a race ensues, which creates bitter jealousies.

Erstwhile friends… are no longer trustworthy friends because politics is immoral… and the interest of the nation is supreme… So when you search for foreign markets, almost all other economies are also suffering from the same problem – and at the same time – because a financial crisis develops in the world…

And if the foreign markets have been impoverished so much that they cannot help sustain your economies, then the crisis will be doubly serious and the situation may go out of hand sooner than you fear. As such the Third World War cannot be averted by any political jugglery.”17

As the final countdown approaches, the present Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, has been issuing repeated warnings of what is now looming on the horizon. During his address at the British Houses of Parliament on 23 October, 2008, he stated:

“It is my fear that, in view of the direction in which things are moving today, the political and economic dynamics of the countries of the world may lead to a world war…Therefore, it is the duty of the superpowers to sit down and find a solution to save humanity from the brink of disaster.”

At the inauguration of Bait-ul-‘Afiyat Mosque in Sheffield, on 8 November, 2008, the Caliph declared:

“The current situation of the world indicates that despite understanding the fact that if there is another world war the entire world will be affected by its fallout, we are slowly moving towards it. My prayer is that may God Almighty enable man to discharge the rights owed to Him and His Creation so that the world can be saved from this horrific destruction…”

Addressing members of the British Parliament and guests from all sections of society at the 6th Annual Peace Conference held on 21st of March 2009 in Morden, London, the fifth Caliph said that the Great Depression of 1929 was followed almost immediately by the onset of the Second World War in which millions of innocent people lost their lives; and that following the Depression whatever wealth was available was channelled into very few hands leading to division and dissent. Furthermore, he said, conflicts on a smaller scale were erupting in Europe and Asia. All of these factors led ultimately to the Second World War.

The present Caliph then warned that today the world was following a similar path. Though banks were being bailed out, hundreds of millions of dollars were being utilised to sustain the bonus culture of the elite. Conflicts were emerging throughout the world, in particular in the Middle East, South Asia and Eastern Europe. His Holiness went on to say:

Mankind should have learnt its lesson but regrettably the people of today are failing to learn from the mistakes of the past. Even those who call themselves Muslims are shedding blood as are those working on the pretext of establishing peace.… Despite our attempts to bury our heads in the sand, we are compelled to view horrific scenes that shake a person to the core.

The United Nations was formed for the establishment of peace. Yet its attempts at bringing about peace in any country where there is turmoil has never achieved the level of success that could have been expected from such a large institution.Due to the influence of superpowers and the UN, the sphere of unrest is expanding. We cannot simply close our eyes to this. The cause of the Second World War was the existence of such unrest and mini wars.

… Governments and providers of capital and the UN should understand their responsibilities. These are to fulfil the requirements of justice and to give due regard to the rights of each other. They should think, deliberate and find a solution based on justice. They should selflessly endeavour to establish peace. And most importantly they should fulfil the rights owed to their Creator and avoid His displeasure.”

So, at this critical juncture in the history of the world, it is imperative that mankind should pay serious attention to the Divine Message while there is still time; their very existence depends on it.

We conclude with the words of God:

So We have made it easy, in thy tongue, that thou mayest give thereby good tidings to the righteous, and warn thereby a people given to contention. And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Canst thou see a single one of them, or hear even a whisper of them? (Ch.19:vs.98-99)
