MTA International

On 4th August, 2022, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) conducted an inspection of the various departments and preparations for the Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) UK 2022. On this occasion, His Holiness (aba) also delivered a brief address to the volunteers of Jalsa Salana, a summary of which is as follows:

After reciting Tashahhud and Ta’awwuz, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) said that all praise belongs to Allah, for He has bestowed the opportunity of holding the Jalsa Salana UK at its full scale this year, both in terms of attendance and the overall infrastructure of departments.

His Holiness (aba) said that the previous year’s Jalsa was held for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic at a limited scale, due to which both attendees and volunteers were also limited in number. This year however, since the attendance will be at its full capacity, the volunteers will also be working accordingly at the usual scale.

His Holiness (aba) said that it may be that there are new volunteers this year, and so the experienced volunteers should help train them. Similarly, although the Jalsa is being held at the full allowed capacity, some restrictions have been kept in place for the Jalsa to ensure everyone’s safety, such as wearing masks, which should be strictly adhered to, especially by all volunteers.

His Holiness (aba) said that as it pertains to the various preparations and facilities for Jalsa, due to the vast experience and knowledge obtained over the years, it cannot be said that there is any shortcoming in any area. If ever there is any shortcoming, it would be because of a lack of due attention on the part of volunteers. Hence, volunteers should show the utmost standard of responsibility, good conduct and hardwork. At the same time, every volunteer must focus on their connection with God Almighty and ensure to offer their prayers especially during the days of Jalsa.

His Holiness (aba) prayed that may Allah the Almighty enable everyone to do so.
