More than fourteen hundred years ago, Allah the Almighty informed the Holy Prophet (sa) that a time would come when human beings of various locations, colours and sentiments would be joined together for a single purpose. Precisely, Allah says:

وَ اِذَا النُّفُوْسُ زُوِّجَتْ

‘And when people are brought together’[1]

The Second Caliph, Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra) explains the purport of the verse:

‘The verse means: When the means of transport and communication will become so developed and when intercourse between peoples living in far off lands will become so easy and frequent as to make them unite into one people.’[2]

In recent times, the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the evil it has done and the havoc it has wreaked, has not entirely been without its blessings e.g. the virtual meetings with our beloved Huzoor (aba).

In addition to the series of blessed virtual meetings that have been a boon for the Ahmadiyyat Muslim Community around the world, Jalsa Salana UK 2021 has fulfilled more of the prophecy of Allah in the above verse of the Holy Qur’an.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forcefully limited the number of the expected Jalsa participants of over 30,000 to less than 10,000.

However, the blessings of Jalsa have not eluded any member of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim community and its international status has not diminished in any way as Muslim Television Ahmadiyya makes the Jalsa accessible to all nations. Centers thousands of kilometres away in Africa are directly linked with the physical Jalsa Gah(Jalsa site). Despite not being physically present in Hadeeqatul Mahdi, members of the community in West African locations like Accra in Ghana, Lagos in Nigeria, Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, and several others from the entire continents have joined virtually in order to participate in the Jalsa.

Every participant has listened with rapt attention and ecstasy to the much awaited moral guidance and spiritual mentoring of our beloved Huzoor (aba). Alhamdulillah(all praise belongs to Allah).
