What a glorious Saturday morning! The sun is shining brightly. The second day of Jalsa is extra special for the women as His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) will be gracing us with his presence. There is a real buzz of excitement in the air, as crowds of ladies queue up to make their way inside.
Our IDs and bags are checked quickly and we are ushered inside. As we enter the marquee, we see that it is filling up quickly. There are already a lot more ladies present at this time compared to yesterday, all trying to secure a good seat with a clear view of His Holiness (aba).
We hear the groups of girls and women practicing their melodious taranas (poems).
MTA women’s team are huddled around the cameras, carrying out final sound checks.
All duty holders seem extra vigilant. Ready to welcome His Holiness (aba).
And now we wait.

That much anticipated moment is finally here! Just as the announcement was made that beloved Huzoor (aba) was to grace the ladies marquee with his presence, a silence fell across the entire marquee, and ladies and children yearned to catch sight of their beloved Caliph, to see the spiritual glow with their own eyes, to hear him live, ready for the spiritual words to be spoken. Many have travelled far and wide across the UK to be sat here in this peaceful abode.
The only sounds that could be heard were the slogans being raised in emotion as His Holiness (aba) walked inside. After that, the buzzing sound of the air conditioning was the only audible noise in the marquee.
Now, the sun is breaking through the doors of the marquee, lighting it up and creating a perfectly serene and enlightened atmosphere.
May Allah the Almighty enable us to seek the benefits of this auspicious day. Ameen.

Today has been a day filled with heat, dust- and immeasurable spiritual guidance. But it has quickly come to a close! Our favourite part was beloved Huzoor (aba) gracing the ladies Jalsa Gah with his presence. From the moment we parked up and went through security, to the moment we caught a glimpse His Holiness (aba), we saw the same excited look on the faces of sisters all around us. Now when we look around, sisters are happy and chatting away to each other, but they are also tired and ready to rest for the third and final day in this special journey.
Now, we can return home feeling content and fulfilled. We look forward to catching up with everyone in the morning.
